EMC SPORTS CLUB

Formerly known as Calypso Cricket Club, our club evolved through a successful merger with Eastern Maroons to become what is now proudly known as EMC Sports Club. Over the years, we have steadily grown and currently field four competitive Sunday Senior teams and Two Teams on Saturdays Senior Teams. Beginning with the 2025/26 season, we have also expanded into Saturday cricket, joining the ECA Competition.

With a rich cricketing heritage, EMC has built a strong reputation in the local cricketing community. We competed in the Victorian Sub-District Cricket Association (VSCA) for nearly two decades, and more recently transitioned into the Southern Cricket Association (SCA). Our journey reached a major milestone in the 2024–25 season, when we were crowned Grade 1 Champions—a true reflection of the depth and dedication within our EMC family.

In our debut winter cricket season in 2025, we participated in the Mid-Year Cricket Association (MYCA) – Gadakh Shield, finishing as runners-up in a highly competitive tournament.

EMC has been strengthened by the arrival of several senior cricketers with premiership experience in the past five years. These individuals have been highly regarded across DDCA, SECA, SCA, and MYCA competitions, bringing both skill and leadership to the club.

Our playing group is proudly diverse—including working professionals, promising young players transitioning into leather-ball cricket, and seasoned athletes with a history of success. This blend of talent and experience fosters a competitive and supportive environment for all.

Our home ground, Ross Reserve, is one of the standout community venues in the region. Managed in partnership with the Greater Dandenong Council, it features a top-quality outfield and a modern digital scoreboard, ensuring a great match-day experience for players and spectators alike.
